LAHORE, Jan 4: The Punjab University will market its research projects to make them commercially viable. This was decided at a meeting of senior faculty members presided over by vice-chancellor Arshad Mahmood here on Wednesday. It also finalized the display of research projects at the three-day partnering conference ‘Bioforum 2006’ being organized by PU’s Centre for Molecular Biology (CEMB), in collaboration with Piselli Consulting SL Barcelona, Spain, on March 13.
The VC stressed the need for promoting judicious use of natural resources, especially water to cope with the environment issues.
He said need of recycling of plastic items and treatment of waste water should be highlighted.— Staff Reporter
