KARACHI, Jan 2: Younis Khan, the Pakistan vice-captain, slammed an unbeaten century to steer Habib Bank to 328 for four in their first innings on the opening day of the four-day Patron’s Trophy Grade-I match against Pakistan Customs at UBL Sports Complex on Monday.
Younis, who had a moderate series against England, looked in fine form as he hit 15 boundaries in his 115 not out off 180 balls in a stay of 266 minutes. The 28-year-old right-hander added 104 for the second wicket with Test discard Taufiq Umar.
Imran Farhat went for 36, a knock laced with eight boundaries. Taufiq Umar made 60 with seven boundaries and Test all-rounder Shahid Afridi made an aggressive 48 off 47 balls with four sixes and two fours.
