SSC exam results announced

LARKANA, Jan 2: The Larkana Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Monday declared the result of supplementary examinations of Secondary School Certificate part-II of science and general group.

In the science group, 530 students had appeared but no one was able to achieve the A-1 grade. However, 16 students passed the exam in A-grade, 103 in B-grade, 200 in C-grade and 140 in D-grade.

The pass percentage was 86.60.

In the general group, 52 candidates had appeared and no one obtained A-1 and A grades. Two students were placed in B-grade, 22 in C-grade and 15 in D-grade.

The pass percentage was 80.76.

ACCOUNTANT GENERAL: Sindh Accountant General Zulfiqar Qadri has said that advanced knowledge has become important for new generations in this era of competition.

He was speaking to students during his visit to the Knowledge Centre on Monday.

Mr Qadri said professional attitude ensured success and glory.

The accountant general believed that educational degrees without good performance were useless.

He advised students to struggle for their targets and not waste their time by depending only on luck.

AG Qadri said a firm belief in God always brought required results. He advised students to acquire education according to demands of the international market.

PROTEST: District Coordination Officer Haji Khuda Bakhsh Larik on Monday termed protest of the Larkana Employees Alliance against the district revenue officer as unjust and said the RO had issued transfer orders of a peon, Imdad Buledi, from Ratodero taluka to Larkana, on administrative grounds.

He said the peon tried to give a threat to the RO with assistance of some other persons on December 30 of the previous year.
