MIRPURKHAS, Jan 1: The assistant director of marketing of agriculture has taken a notice of reports that fruit commission agents were involved in collecting Rs2 per bag illegally from fruit sellers of the main Mirpurkhas vegetable market. He asked the agents not to collect the amount otherwise their licenses would be cancelled or they would be prosecuted in court.

DEMAND: A delegation of the Mirpurkhas Special Sports and Welfare Association met District Nazim Dr Kaneez Sughra Junejo in her office on Saturday to tell her their problems.

The delegation was led by President Mohammad Naveed Malik, Vice-President Abdul Hafeez and General Secretary Lal Mohammad Baloch.

They presented their demands, including non implementation of two per cent quota in jobs.

The nazim assured the delegation that their problems would be considered sympathetically.
