Khokhrapar rail talks on Jan 5

NEW DELHI, Dec 30: Pakistan and India will hold two-day-long technical talks here from Jan 5 for the resumption of rail link between Khokhrapar and Munabao.

A 10-member Pakistan delegation, headed by Joint Secretary (Railways) Nasir Zaidi, will arrive here on Jan 4 to hold talks with their Indian counterparts.

Technical issues, including the train service’s schedule, its date of commencement and fare are expected to be discussed during the meeting, a senior official at the Pakistan High Commission said on Friday.

During the talks, railway officials of the two countries will work out modalities to start the train service.—APP
