Mansoor slams century

KARACHI, Dec 28: Pakistan levelled three-match seniors cricket series against India 1-1 when they beat the hosts by six wickets in the second one-dayer at Kanpur on Wednesday thanks to splendid hundred by Mansoor Akhtar, according to a message received by Pakistan Seniors Cricket Board.

Former Test batsman Mansoor blasted ten boundaries and a six in his 101 to win the Man-of-the-Match award of Rs 10,000. Azam Khan struck a brilliant 81.

Mansoor and Azam added 110 runs for the second wicket after Ghulam Ali and Manzoor Elahi went cheaply.

Earlier, India seniors collected 240 for nine in their 40 overs. Atul Wassan hit 58 with eight fours and a six and former Indian captain Azharuddin made 45.
