KARACHI, Dec 28: The 15th National shooting championship will be held at the Naval Shooting Range, Karsaz on Jan 2-8, said the National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP) on Wednesday.

Sharpshooters from Punjab, Sindh, NWFP, Balochistan, Islamabad, Army, PAF and hosts and defending champions Navy would take part in the weeklong event, which would also serve as trials to pick probables for the national training camp for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in March and SAF Games in Colombo, said secretary NRAP Khalid Javed.

The championship features all the pistol, rifle and shotgun events for men and women. Two newly-hired Chinese coaches would supervise the camp, he added.—APP
