Imran named in ‘A’ team

LAHORE, Dec 27: Opener Imran Farhat has been included in the 12-member Pakistan ‘A’ team, to be led by Hasan Raza to play a three-day match against India at Bagh-i-Jinnah ground from Jan 7 to 9. Imran was dropped after Pakistan toured Australia in Dec last year after successful home series against South Africa and India.

Other Test players included in the team are Muhammad Wasim, Faisal Iqbal, Bazid Khan and Umer Gul.

SQUAD:

Imran Farhat, Muhammad Wasim, Faisal Iqbal, Hasan Raza (captain), Asim Kamal, Bazid Khan, Zulqarnain Haider (wicketkeeper), Mansoor Amjad, Muhammad Irshad, Umer Gul, Rao Iftikhar Anjum, Yasir Arafat.

Azhar Khan has been appointed as manager-cum-coach.
