Opposition groups issue strike call

QUETTA, Dec 26: Opposition parties have given a call for a wheel-jam and shutter-down strike in the province on Tuesday in protest against the military operation in Kohlu, besieging of Dera Bugti and proposed construction of Kalabagh dam and Greater Thar Canal.

Representatives of political groups held a meeting on Monday in the PMAP office and reviewed arrangements for the strike, said a statement issued here.

A strategy was also devised to make the strike successful, the statement said.—Correspondent
