LAHORE, Dec 24: Government College, Sialkot qualified for the semifinals of the Punjab University Women Inter-collegiate cricket championship beating Government College, Gulberg, Lahore by six wickets on Saturday.

Batting first Gulberg college scored 131 in 20 overs with Mahnaz scoring 32 not out and Ayesha made 27.

Anum captured three wickets for 29 while Naila and Aasma picked up two wickets each for 19 and 21 runs.

Sialkot College reeled off the runs scoring 132 for four in 15.3 overs. Naila remained top scorer with 25.

The first semifinal between Government Post Graduate College, Gujranwala and Islamia College, Eidgah Road, Faisalabad will be played on Monday.
