NEW DELHI, Dec 22: India on Thursday decided to set free eight Pakistani prisoners as part of ongoing peace process. “The government of India has decided to release and repatriate to Pakistan eight Pakistani prisoners on Monday,” the foreign ministry said in a statement. “Earlier in November, India released 26 Pakistani prisoners.” It said the freed Pakistani nationals would be allowed to return to their homeland via Wagah.—AFP
