Body set up to solve civic problems

Published December 21, 2005

KHAIRPUR, Dec 20: The District Nazim has constituted a committee comprising two members each from three major political parties to solve civic problems facing the district. The committee was formed at a ‘round-table meeting’ attended by JUI, PML-F and PPP in collaboration with the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) and the Indus Resource Centre here on Tuesday. The meeting was held as a follow-up of ‘public forum’ organised by the three parties, NDI and IRC in November to highlight the ‘law and order’ situation in Khairpur district.—BoC
