LAHORE, Dec 19: Paceman Riaz Afridi claimed four for 34 and opener Ashar Zaidi hit an unbeaten 62 to help PTCL beat ZTBL by nine wickets in the Patron’s Trophy Grade-I fixture at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Monday.

ZTBL, who had conceded a 120-run lead on the first innings, were all out for 252 in the second after resuming at 104 for two.

Chasing 133, PTCL got off to a flying start with Ashar blasting 10 fours to set up an easy win.

Together with Shahzad Malik (39, four fours, two sixes), the left-handed Ashar added 74 after Usman Tariq was dismissed for 23.
