‘Sindh won’t accept dam on Indus’


HYDERABAD, Dec 18: Director of the Canada chapter of the World Sindhi Institute, Ms Humera Rehman has said that Sindh has an exclusive right over the Indus river and it will not accept any dam on the river. According to a press release of the Sindh National Council, Ms Rehman was speaking to SNC activists on telephone at the central secretariat in Qasimabad on Sunday. She blamed the government was spreading disinformation that Pakistan could not survive without big dams.—Bureau
