French aid arrives

ISLAMABAD, Dec 18: An Air France cargo plane, carrying 75 tons of relief goods for the quake survivors, arrived here on Sunday. This is the third humanitarian flight sent by the French government to provide assistance to the quake victims in Pakistan. The freight was made of winterised tents, blankets, warm clothing, kitchen kits, food items, medicines, medical equipments.

The goods will be provided to several NGOs already working in Pakistan and to local institutions — Islamic Relief, French Red Cross, Pims hospital and the prime minister secretariat.
