KARACHI, Dec 18: The admission committee of the University of Karachi has transferred 22 candidates selected for admissions in BS (CS) evening programme to BS (CS) provisionally admitted under “K” category to the morning programme on merit basis.
According to a KU press release issued here Saturday, these candidates had final percentage greater than 61, which led to their transfer to the morning programme and directed them to contact the KU Computer Science Department for finalizing their admission process. Last date for depositing semester fee is Dec 26.
Similarly, 11 candidates provisionally admitted to BS (SE) evening programme with final percentage greater than 60, have been transferred to BS (CS) evening programme on merit basis.
Meanwhile, the KU announced that all those candidates on waiting list, whose final percentage was greater than 56.70, have been provisionally selected for admissions to BS(SE) evening programme on merit basis. All these 21 candidates were directed to appear before an interview board on Dec 19 at 4:30am, while the last date for depositing semester fee is Dec 26.—PPI
