KOLKATA, Dec 17: India plans to post more troops along its border with Bangladesh in a bid to stop infiltration by militants operating in the neighbouring country, a senior official said on Saturday.
Security forces in Bangladesh are hunting extremists blamed for a wave of deadly blasts aimed at imposing strict Islamic law in the country.
“India is worried over the recent militant activities in Bangladesh,” said Damador Sarangi, additional director general of the Border Security Force (BSF).—AFP
