KASUR, Dec 17: Four people were shot dead by their rivals over an old enmity at Maqamanwala near Khudian on Friday night. Police said Riasat alias Chaboo, Faryad and Muhammad Yaseen had allegedly killed Khalid, a resident of Maqamanwala, a few months ago. Later, they were declared proclaimed offenders by the police in this murder case.

On Friday night, they were present at Maqamanwala for a dinner when Abdul Khaliq, the brother of Khalid, along with 10 others came there and opened fire on them.

As a result, Riasat, Faryad, Yaseen and Muhammad Ameen Patwari died on the spot. Later, the accused threw the dead bodies in the fields near Basti Lal Shah and fled.
