RAWALPINDI, Dec 15: Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Thursday called on President General Pervez Musharraf and discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation between Iran and Pakistan and other issues of common interest. It was agreed during the meeting that bilateral agreements should be implemented for strengthening trade and economic cooperation.
President Musharraf said the two countries had a vast scope for expanding bilateral commercial ties and stood to gain mutually from an increase in trade and economic cooperation.
The discussion also covered regional and international issues of common concern.
