KARACHI, Dec 15: The artists of Indian film industry are keen to organize a show in Karachi in collaboration with the Pakistan film and TV industries to generate funds for the quake-hit people and to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.

This was stated by the visiting Indian actor, Shatrughan Sinha, during a reception hosted in his honour by the Pakistan Film and TV Journalists Association.

Mr Sinha said that in the present environment of growing mutual sentiments between the two countries, a joint show in Karachi by the Indian and Pakistani artists would send a powerful message of cooperation and love between the two nations across the world.

Mr Sinha called upon the Pakistani film industry, its people and the authorities to extend their cooperation and support to hold the event successfully in the city purely for a humanitarian cause.—APP
