KARACHI, Dec 14: Dawn’s ‘All About Lifestyles Winter 2005’ exhibition opens in Karachi on Friday (Dec 16) at the Expo Centre and will run through to Sunday. Apart from the main exhibition, a special relief pavilion related to the Oct 8 earthquake will also be put up this year. It will be an interactive area where consulates of foreign countries helping out in the earthquake relief will exhibit their respective cultures for the benefit of the visitors. The stalls may include cultural exhibits, handicrafts, and the cuisines of the foreign countries taking part.

Proceeds from the sale of such items at this pavilion will go towards the earthquake relief fund, says a press release.

Apart from all the other regular features, the expo will also have a cat show on Dec 16, a bird show on all three days, a German Shepherd show on Dec 17 and an All-Breed Championship Dog Show on Dec 18.
