Party leaders criticized Kalabagh dam

JACOBABAD, Dec 13: A meeting of all political parties was held at the Shah Abdul Latif Library in Thul on Tuesday against the construction of Kalabagh dam. It was attended by representatives of PPP, JUI-F, JUP, PPP-SB, STPP, JSQM and other political parties.

Speakers at the meeting, Asghar Sujag, Amir Bux Soomro, Nawab Sanjrani and Amanullah Soomro condemned the construction of the Kalabagh dam and said its construction would render Sindh’s land dry.

They urged MNAs, senators, MPAs and nazims to take a clear stand against the Kalabagh dam.
