PA session on Dec 24

PESHAWAR, Dec 12: Speaker of NWFP Assembly Bakht Jehan Khan has summoned the session of the provincial assembly on December 24 (Saturday) at 10am. The opposition parties filed the requisition, signed by 38 legislators, for summoning the session on Monday.

It may be mentioned that the previous session, which had commenced on Oct 10, was adjourned on Nov 25. The combined opposition has requisitioned the session to debate a a seven-point agenda. The requisition was jointly filed by leader of opposition Shezada Gastasab, parliamentary leader of PML Mustaq Ghani, PPPP’s Tariq Khattak, PML-N’s Anwar Kamal Marwat and PML’s Nighat Orakzai.—APP
