HYDERABAD, Dec 11: Abdul Raees, a brother-in-law of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s MPA Asma Sherani, appeared on Saturday before the Jamshoro District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Ishaq Memon, who is conducting a judicial inquiry into the death of the MPA’s husband Abdul Aziz on the Super Highway on October 23.

Two labourers, Hurseen and Beejal, who had suffered injuries in the accident also testified before the court.

Statements of Mohammad Furqan, ACLC inspector Kansen Ben, ASI Mohammad Asim, head constables Mohammad Siddique and Mohammad Tahir were recorded.

The court has given the date of December 19 for next hearing.
