Benefits of modern farming explained
BANNU, Dec 11: Speakers at a seminar urged farmers on Saturday to adopt modern farming techniques to boost agricultural output. The seminar, organized by the agriculture department in collaboration with Agro Pakistan, was held to create awareness in the agriculture community about modern farming.
The participants were also apprised about new farming techniques and proper use of fertilizers to help improve production. Experts of Agro Pakistan also listened to the problems of farmers and suggested possible solutions to enable them to use modern farming techniques.
Bannu Nazim Azam Khan Durrani also spoke on the occasion. Mr Durrani said the district government would pave irrigation channels in an effort to curb water losses.
