KARACHI: Pakistan ties with Turkey to grow: CM

KARACHI, Dec 11: Pakistan and Turkey enjoy very close friendly ties which would strengthen in the years ahead. This was stated by Chief Minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim while talking to APP here on Sunday after seeing off Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogon, who made a brief stopover at the Karachi airport on his way back home after a visit to Australia and New Zealand.

The chief minister said that he discussed matters of mutual interest with the Turkish premier.

He quoted Mr Erdogon as telling him that the two brotherly countries enjoyed exemplary friendly relations, and the same should also be reflected as far as economic ties were concerned with expanding bilateral trade. —APP
