KARACHI, Dec 11: The admission committee of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technology has finalized the admission list of 2,863 students for 35 programmes in the Science, Pharmacy, Arts, Commerce, Business Administration and Law faculties for the new academic session.
A senior official of the varsity said on Sunday that the admission list would be out on display on the two campuses of the varsity in the city on Monday morning.
Date for finalizing the admission and deposit of fees has been fixed as Dec 19, while teaching for the new session will commence on Jan 2.
In all 9,000 applications were received, out of which 505 were selected for BA (honours), 355 for MA, 103 for BCom, 58 for Mcom.
Another 158 were selected for admissions to the pharmacy programme, 669 to BSc (honours), 300 for BS (four year) and 55 for MSc.
The list of the Business Administration faculty contained 681 names; out of which 400 will be given admissions to BBA classes, while 281 to the MBA classes, added the official.
