President, PM review OIC summit

RAWALPINDI, Dec 10: President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Saturday expressed satisfaction over the outcome of the extraordinary summit of the OIC observing that the final document issued in Makkah incorporated some of the key points proposed by Pakistan for the overall development of the Ummah.

The two leaders, meeting at the conclusion of President Musharraf’s successful visit to Kuwait, Yemen and Saudi Arabia, reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for implementation of the 10-Year Plan of Action for socio-economic , scientific and technological uplift of the OIC countries.

Prime Minister Aziz congratulated President Musharraf for Pakistan’s vital contribution to collective efforts aimed at revamping and reforming the OIC. — APP
