KARACHI, Dec 10: Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) made a painstaking start to their Patron’s Trophy Grade-I fixture as they crawled to 200 for seven against Pakistan Customs at NBP Sports Complex on Saturday.
Electing to bat first, KRL made a promising start by reaching 100 for one before nose-diving to 141 for six with off-spinner Murtaza Hussain capturing three for 70 in 33 overs.
Former Test batsman Mohammad Wasim made a steady 62 off 149 balls in 205 minutes, laced with eight boundaries.
KRL lost five wickets for 42 runs in the post-lunch session as Customs wrested the initiative.
Imran Ali, the paceman, picked up two for 22 in 18 overs.
