NOWSHERA, Dec 10: Ijaz Ahmad Khan of the People’s Lawyers Forum was elected president of the Nowshera District Bar Association on Saturday. Mr Khan received 91 votes against his opponent Syed Azmat Ali Shah’s 38. Shahid Hassan was elected secretary-general of the association.

Its other office-bearers include Hamid Hussain Khan (vice-president) Mohammad Ayub (joint secretary) and Raza Mohammad (finance secretary).
