KARACHI, Dec 10: A man stabbed his bedridden uncle to death in a house in Pak Colony police limits on Saturday. An old man, identified as Nawa Jan, resident of Hasrat Mohani Colony, had suffered a paralysis attack some six years back on his lower part of the body and was unable to walk since then, his son, Yazar Khan, said.
He said that he heard the shrieks of his father when he was at a short distance from his home. “I rushed (home) and saw my cousin Abdul Waheed fleeing. When I entered the home, my father was lying in a pool of blood,” he added.
Yazar took his father to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. The body was later handed over to Yazar for burial.
