Lanka truce

COLOMBO, Dec 10: Rri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse told visiting Japanese peace envoy Yasushi Akashi on Friday that there should be two separate entities to facilitate the peace process and to monitor the truce.

The president informed the Japanese envoy that he would welcome monitors from Japan, South Asia and Scandinavian countries to monitor the ceasefire with Tamil Tigers.
