An agreement was signed here on Friday by the head of the delegation of the European Commission, Ambassador Likka Uusitalo, and Economic Affairs Division Secretary Khalid Saeed.

Out of this grant, 20 million euros would be provided to the NWFP government for improving educational infrastructure in consultation with the federal government. The proposed programme would focus on strengthening the quality of education system in the province.

Three million euros would be spent on war against terrorism and one million euros for institutional support of the electoral process.
