Kashif slams winning goal

LAHORE, Dec 8: Three goals by Kashif Jamal and two by Agha Murtaza Ali Khan propelled The Collectibles to 5-3 win over Diamond Paints in the Guard Rice Cup polo on Thursday.

In the first chukker both teams were tied at 2-2, as Kashif scored two goals while Sufi Muhammad Haris banged home both goals for the losers. The winners came out with 4-3 lead in the second chukker as Agha Murtaza struck twice. Maula Baksh replied for the losers. Kashif scored his third goal in the fourth chukker to complete the tally.

Four goals by Ahmed Zubair helped Chimera beat Guard Rice 8-2. Saqib Khakwani and Taimur Mawaz Khan scored two goals each. Ahmad Nawaz Tiwana and Taimur Ali Malik reduced the margin for the losers.
