DADU: Teachers want salary payment

DADU, Dec 8: Teachers of over 30 management committee schools continued their token hunger strike outside the local press club on the 99th day on Thursday to protest against non-payment of salary. Mohammad Ali Panhwar, president of the SMC Teachers Association, alleged that the district government was shielding the education officials who had embezzled their salaries. He demanded an inquiry into the matter.

He said teachers would continue their protest till the payment of their salary.
