Younis prepared for ODI

Published December 8, 2005

LAHORE, Dec 7: Pakistan vice-captain Younis Khan on Wednesday said that he was mentally prepared for ODIs against England, starting with the first match at Qadhafi Stadium on Saturday.

Younis, who missed the third Test at Qadhafi Stadium due to the untimely death of his brother in road accident in Ukraine, did practice in the training camp at the National Cricket Academy on Wednesday. Younis said that the series was important for Pakistan to maintain its winning streak. He said that beating England by a clear margin in the Test series (2-0) was a creditable achievement and if Pakistan showed same team spirit it would also win the ODIs.
