LAHORE, Dec 7: A batch of 200 troops of Pakistan Army left for Congo on Wednesday as a part of United Nations relief-rotation programme. Brig Tariq Mahmood Minhas bade them farewell.
The Pakistani peace-keepers are serving in the war ravaged African country for the past three years and are deployed at remote parts where their main task is to disarm the dissidents engaged in factional fighting for the past 40 years.
