HYDERABAD, Dec 7: The Sindh High Court, Hyderabad circuit bench, issued on Wednesday notices to works and services secretary Faisal Saud, chief engineer of highways Mohammad Sharif Nizamani and land acquisition officer Imdad Ali Kutrio on a contempt of court application filed by Mehar Khatoon and others.

The applicants said that the respondents had to pay them Rs 366,144 but they paid only Rs125,000.

They said the court had earlier directed the respondents to pay the remaining amount within two months.

The petitioners prayed before the court to take action against the respondents as two months have passed and they have not paid the amount.
