Inter-school hockey
KARACHI, Dec 6: Shah Abdul Latif (SAL) Township clinched the All_Sindh Tanveer Dar Inter school hockey tournament when they thrashed Agro Technical School Shah Faisal Colony 5-1 in the final at Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium on mMonday.
Right-in Muhammad Shahbaz and left-in Muhammad Zubair both scored a pair of goals. Right-winger Hamza netted the other goal. Captain Muhammad Zahid netted the consolation goal for losers.
Sindh Sports Minister Qamar Mansoor, who was the chief guest distributed the trophies. Olympian Hasan Sardar and Director PHF Domestic Hockey for Sindh Balochistan Muhammad Shafique and others were also present on the occasion.
Mustufa Kamal of Shah Faisal School was declared the best player of the tournament while St.Pats School got the Fair Play Trophy.
Shah Faisal Town Azeempura got third place when they beat District School Mirpurkhas on penalty strokes.—APP
