NEW DELHI, Dec 5: The Bharatiya Janata Party expelled on Monday a firebrand nun for challenging the party’s leadership. The expulsion of Uma Bharti marked the latest storm to shake the BJP. A party spokesman said the party expelled the 45-year-old Bharti, who has a massive following among lower caste Hindus, because of ‘indiscipline’.—AFP
