DERA GHAZI KHAN, Dec 4: The district coordination officer on Sunday got the official residence of a doctor sealed in the wake of his row with an MPA over its occupation.

According to sources, MPA Syed Aleem Shah tried to occupy the official residence allotted to Dr Majeedullah Buzdar. The house is situated in the doctor’s colony of the DHQ hospital and it was recently vacated by Dr Saleem for the new allottee.

Sources said the MPA, along with his cronies, came to occupy the residence for his sister who is a doctor and serving at the DHQ hospital. However, Dr Majeed stopped the MPA from committing the illegal act.

Sources said DCO Pervez Khusrao instead of helping the doctor in retaining the residence, got it sealed.

None of the DCO or MPA was available for comments.
