JWP team meets NP leader

QUETTA, Dec 4: A delegation of the Jamhoori Watan Party met leaders of the National Party and discussed the issue of merging Baloch political parties into a single organization.

The delegation led by the party’s secretary-general Agha Shahid Hasan Bugti delivered an invitation of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti for a meeting to NP president Dr Hayee Baloch here on Sunday.

Representatives of the two parties exchanged views on problems faced by the Baloch people, a statement issued by the JWP said.

It said the response of the National Party was positive and its leaders described Nawab Bugti’s idea for single Baloch nationalist party as a good development.

Former chief minister Mir Hamayun Marri and Senator Amanullah Kanrani of the JWP and Mir Hasil Bizenjo, Dr Malik Baloch, MPA, Jan Muhammad Buledi and Mir Abdul Khaliq Baloch of National Party were present at the meeting.
