SHIKARPUR, Dec 4: Sindh Jamaat-i-Islami Amir Dr Mumtaz Ali Memon has opposed the Kalabagh dam project and threatened to launch a protest movement if the government does not cancel it.
He was speaking to JI workers here on Sunday.
He said the party would decide its future strategy in the upcoming meeting of the Sindh ARD on December 6.
KILLED: A man, Juman Kharos, was killed in the Dil Murad Khoso village of the Garhi Yasin taluka on Sunday when four armed men attacked their house and opened fire on them.
Another man Mehboob Kharos was also injured in the attack.
