KARACHI: 3 brothers die of suffocation

KARACHI, Dec 3: Three brothers died of suffocation in an oil tanker on Saturday. Police said that the brothers identified as Zubair Ali, Zohaib Ali, and Sunny, who dealt in the oil business, entered an oil tanker to clean it, parked in Khamiso Goth, in New Karachi.

Due to the fumes of oil, all the three were suffocated to death. Their bodies were sent to a hospital for autopsy and later handed over to their family for burial.

KILLED: A woman was shot dead by two armed motorcyclists in Orangi Town on Saturday.

Police said that a widow Noorjahan had been monitoring her house, which was being constructed in Gabole Town. Two armed men on a motorcycle shot her and fled leaving her in a pool of blood. The woman died on the spot and her body was sent to a hospital for autopsy.

SUICIDE: A man committed suicide at his home in Lines Area here on Saturday.

Police said that Mohammad Saleem, father of four children, had been jobless for the past many months and unable to meet domestic expenses. In utter depression, he hanged himself in his room against a ceiling fan.

Police sent the body for autopsy to a hospital and handed over to the family later. Police believed there was no foul play involved in the man’s death.
