Golf contest

LAHORE, Dec 2: Former Pakistan Test cricketers, some players of the England team and Royal Palm Golf Club team will play in a golf competition on Dec 4 to raise funds for the victims of the Oct 8 earthquake.

The competition will be held at the Royal Palm Golf Club course. The former cricketers of Pakistan who will compete are Zaheer Abbas, Sahfqat Rana, Salim Malik, Ramiz Raja, Ijaz Ahmad, Aamer Sohail, Waqar Younis, Akram Raza.

From England, Paul Collingwood, Alaistar Cook, Ashley Giles, Steve Harmison, Matthew Hoggard, Geraint Jones, Kevin Pietersen confirmed their participation.

From Royal Palm Club Haroon Rashid, Shahzad Hussain, Shahid Iqbal, Nasir Mehmood, Shoaib Bukhari Ramzan Sheikh will contest.
