KARACHI, Dec 2: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has said the present government is working on a multi-pronged strategy to alleviate poverty and improve the quality of life of the common man.

He said emphasis was being laid on steps for the expansion of industrial activities and promotion of agricultural economy.

He was talking to former federal minister Jam Mashooq Ali, Principal of Sindh Madressatul Islam Mohammed Ali Shaikh and Abdullah Dadabhoy, who called on him separately, at the Governor’s House on Thursday.

The general manager of PTV Karachi, Qasim Jalali, and DG NAB Sindh Maj-Gen Mukhtar Ahmed also met the governor.

The governor said that improvement was being brought in all the sectors by introducing financial discipline and ensuring good governance.
