Girls’ plea for stipend
GILGIT, Dec 1: More than 40 girl students of the Gilgit Women College have complained that the education department has not yet sunctioned stipend for them. They said they hailed from the lower income groups and non-payment of stipend had been causing further hardship.
They called upon the regional chief secretary to take cognizance of the matter and ensure immediate payment of stipend.
