HYDERABAD, Dec 1: The Sindh Agriculture University Teachers Association, Tandojam, has resolved to ask the university to withdraw show-cause notices issued to four university teachers and lift a ban on promotion of seven teachers. A general body meeting of the association was held here on Tuesday with acting president Inayatullah Khuhro in the chair.

The association called to uplift and develop the agriculture college in Dokri.

It demanded computer allowance for all teachers as per directives of the HEC chairman.

The meeting said that computer, Internet and intercom facilities should be provided to all teachers at their offices and at the hostel.

It demanded to improve the faculty according to the recommendations of the Higher Education Commission.

The association demanded medical allowance for all academic staff and technical allowance for teachers of the engineering faculty.

The meeting said that teachers taking the PhD classes in the evening should be given honorarium.

It also requested study leave with Rs5,000 per month for the PhD scholars.
