KARACHI: 27 college teachers get move-over


KARACHI, Dec 1: The Sindh Education and Literacy Department on the recommendations of the move-over committee and approval from the Sindh Chief Minister, Arbab Ghulam Rahim, on Thursday allowed 27 senior teachers to move-over from BPS-19 to BPS-20 with effect from Dec 1, 2001.

The Board-I had approved the move-over cases of 27 teachers and sent the summary to the Sindh chief minister for final approval in May 3, 2005 which was approved recently and the notification in this regard was issued by the Sindh Education and Literacy Department.

According to a notification issued by the Sindh Education and Literacy Department, names of the teachers allowed move-over from BPS-19 to BPS-20 are as follows:

Syed Riaz Ahsan (Statistics), Syed Kamil Sher (Chemistry), Wasim Adil (Physics), Obaid Ahmed(Chemistry), Knaiya Lal S. Nagpal (English), Asadullah Soomro (Organic Chemistry), Mohammad Nasimuddin (Statistics), Amjad Ali Syed (Zoology), Syed Mohammad Ahmed (Physics), Manzoor Hussain Chishti (Political Science), Mohammad Illyas Soomro (Chemistry), Anwar Tanveer Siddiqui (Botany), Mohammad Ishaque Khan (English), Syed Khalid Ahmed Kazmi (Physics), Ghulam Yasin (Mathematics), Anwarul Haque Bhatti (Botany), Syed Qaiser Hussain (Urdu), Mohammad Suleman Khan (Urdu), Syed Shahid Hussain (Physics), Iqbal Ahmed(Sindhi), Gada Hussain Khokhar, Wahid Bux Leghari, Ghulam Sarwar Pathan (English), Ms Iftikhar Jabeen (Urdu), Ms Sakina Abdul Qadir (Home Economics), Ms Zubaida Khanum (Economics) and Ms Neelofar Shah (Islamic Studies).—PPI
