ISLAMABAD, Nov 30: Wapda continued to dominate the 28th Quaid-i-Azam National Weightlifting Championship, their athletes picking up another three gold medals at the Pakistan Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Shujauddin Malik (85 kg weight category), Hamayun Butt (94 kg) and Sajjad Amin Malik (105 kg) won their respective categories as Wapda led the table with an overall gold tally of six.
The plus 105 kg weight category was won by Wasif Hanif Butt of Railways who left Wapda’s Zafar Ali behind totalling 317 kg.
